On the morning of February 21, 2024, Food Bank Quang Binh, along with the Community Food Bank Club of Le Thuy, Quang Binh and the Le Thuy Volunteer Group, brought the warmth of Spring to the Center for Education of Disabled Children in Le Thuy District, Quang Binh.
With 55 New Year’s gifts sent to children with special circumstances at the disability center in the district, the aim was to bring warmth to them in the early days of the year, contribute to boosting their spirits and positive outlook to overcome life’s difficulties and develop themselves, thus starting a energetic and joyful year 2024. The total sponsorship for this occasion amounted to over 10 million Vietnamese dong.
The Center for Education of Disabled Children in Lệ Thủy is also one of the 600 beneficiary institutions in the nationwide network of Food Bank Vietnam.
Established in September 1999, the Center for Education of Disabled Children in Lệ Thủy originated from the Compassion class of An Thủy Primary School. Currently, the center is nurturing and educating 55 children in 8 basic classes.
