On December 7th, Food Bank Vietnam launched the project “The Love Kitchen” as part of the “Đông Ấm – Xuân Yêu Thương” program, dedicated to vulnerable groups nationwide.
Kicking off the “Đông ấm – Xuân Yêu Thương” program, more than 50 independent members and employees of Herbalife Vietnam participated directly in the program at Vinh Sơn Nursing Home, Ho Chi Minh City. With activities such as care, visits, serving more than 150 nutritious meals, and giving gifts to the shelter, including cakes, candies, milk, cereal, diapers, the total sponsorship reached over VND 80 million.
Herbalife is one of the leading health and wellness companies, providing nutrition to various audiences both domestically and internationally with nutritional products present in the market since 1980. It is also one of the strategic partners of the Global FoodBanking Network. This collaboration in Vietnam marks a milestone towards the goal of “For a Vietnam without hunger and against food waste.”
According to the plan, there will be more community support activities in 2024 to enhance the well-being of each target group, aiming for sustainable development in the community and society. During the program, representatives of Food Bank Vietnam and Herbalife Vietnam also conveyed wishes for health and a peaceful Christmas season to the elderly and nuns at the Nursing Home. The “Đông ấm – Xuân Yêu Thương” program will be implemented by local Food Banks nationwide from December 2023 to January 2024.
